![]() But you could also argue (quite easily) that your IP address is insufficient proof of anything, and Daz wants your money, which they aren't getting if you can't buy from them. Could Daz block your account or something? Sure. Yes, it's a breach of the EULA, but really, I don't think Daz cares all that much, as generally, it would be the responsibility of the PA to issue a DMCA, and they don't have direct access to your IP address in the first place. I got two warning letters from I think a Fast and Furious and some Disney movie in the three years I was doing so. Not even like it was similar, all my uploads and such were with the exact same username, from the exact same IP address, and a static IP address no less. As a terrible example of how not to do things, for a very long time, I was using the same username I have at Daz everywhere I torrented. ![]() IPs aren't nearly as concretely identifying as they seem. ![]()
